ELLIS EXTENDS EXPORT EXPERTISE

Following a year of unparalleled export success, Ellis Patents has expanded its dedicated export sales team with the appointment of Isabelle Nourry.

Nourry has been appointed as the North-Yorkshire cable cleat manufacturer’s export sales executive, having previously worked in export sales for AXYZ International. Her role will see her working directly alongside the company’s export sales manager, Tony Conroy, managing existing and developing new business in key markets such as South America, Kazakhstan and the Middle East.

Commenting on Nourry’s appointment, Conroy said: “In recent years we have cemented our position as a UK manufacturer with a global reputation, which has led to export sales rising to such an extent that it now accounts for virtually half of our annual turnover.

“To date, this has been overseen by a dedicated two man export team of myself and export sales administrator, Tony Richardson. But with the level of business now so high, and the potential for further growth huge it was imperative to strengthen our export hand in order to safeguard current business and maximise future sales.

“Isabelle, with her export sales background, and strong marketing and financial pedigree, has the ideal skills for our needs and we look forward to working closely with her as we continue to develop Ellis Patents global reputation.”

In the last year alone, Ellis Patents has won significant orders from customers in Kazakhstan, Australia, Germany, the United States, Sweden, Norway and Hong Kong. And most recently the company won its first significant order in Brazil and secured a sole supplier agreement with the Dubai Cable Company (Pvt) Ltd (Ducab).
