ELLIS INNOVATES WITH PIPE COVER ACCESSORIES
Ellis, the plumbing products division of market leading electrical cable and pipe fixing manufacturer, Ellis Patents, has demonstrated its innovate approach to product development by launching a range of pipe cover accessories that will make installation easier, while also providing a neater and more attractive finish that makes unsightly pipework a thing of the past.
The new range contains internal, external and flat corner fixings, a straight adaptor, stop end and tee piece, and is initially available for use on Ellis’ 15mm pipe cover.
Manufactured in the UK from moulded white ABS, the accessories are fixed in place using a standard sealant – a simple development that has all round benefits. Firstly, it means the plumber no longer needs to spend so much time cutting mitres and pipe cover lengths to fit exactly during installation. Secondly, the pipes are securely covered throughout the final installation, and finally, the finish is far superior.
Ellis’ managing director, Richard Shaw commented: “Our development team is continually looking at ways to enhance the quality of our products or expand upon what we offer. In this instance, they acted on customer feedback to deliver a range of products that I’m certain will have a real impact on the market.”
